Health and Well-Being
Introduction: As per the sayings of our ancestors, “Health is our biggest
wealth”. Health and well-being are two parallel lines that runs equally, even if
one is lost an individual may attract disease. The health of an individual
depends on the kind of food he is intaking and also the kind of environment in
which he is living. Health doesn’t only mean physical health, but it also means
mental and emotional health.
The emotional health of an individual completely relies upon the surrounding
he is living and also the environment whether it is a positive or negative
environment.
Remedies to improve mental and physical health:
The mental health of an individual can be improved through meditation.
Whereas the physical health need to be improved through the physical work
like running, performing yogic asanas on daily basis. Physical health relates to
the proper functioning of the body and its system. Also physical health plays a
vital role in maintaining the body posture of an individual as it consists of
proper functioning of the body and its system.
Any individual who lacks physical health is supposed to include physical activity
in his/her day to day life alongside he should include healthy and a balanced
diet that should rich in fruits, vegetables and salads etc.
One of the core reasons for improper mental health is inadequate amount of
sleep which hampers the proper functioning of the brain.
An individual must be physically and mentally both fit and fine in order to be fit
and fine. One must drink adequate amount of water keep his/her body
hydrated.
An individual must be disease-free for living a better life. Disease are of two
types-Chronic and Acute diseases.
Chronic diseases: Chronic disease are those disease which lasts for a long
span of time. They can be genetic, meaning carried through the genes from our
Ancestors. A few of the examples includes diabetes, hypertension, heart
disease, asthma which needs long caring and medical treatment to be cured.
Acute Diseases: Acute diseases are those diseases which can be cured over a
very span of time. Examples of such diseases include flu, common cold,
fractures and raptures etc. Ailment to this disease require short term
medications to be cured.
What to do to be disease free?
A disease free body is the want of every second person but to get it no one
wants to do any sort of hard work. Following points highlights what you need
to do in order to be disease free.
Eat healthy and live freely :A healthy life is wanted by each one of us but, no
one is willing to practice the same. In order to be healthy an individual must
eat healthy diet and exercise daily.
Conclusion: As a part of healthy living an individual must perform exercises
and yogic asanas on regular basis to live disease free and a healthy life. Intake
of a balanced diet including carbohydrates, fats, proteins and minerals in daily
diet is pretty essential to remain fit and healthy. Intake of water should be in
sufficient amount so that our body doesn’t get dehydrated.
